What, What! It’s Friday.

So excited Friday is here.  There’s just something about Fridays which make me extra happy and laid back feeling.  To keep with my true random fashion let’s discuss a few completely unrelated things shall we?  Yes, lets.

I’m glad so many of you agreed with me on the awesomeness of Janet.  You all are too awesome as well and encouraging and each of your comments and emails me smile bigger and bigger.  I kind of love you guys.  I’m already working on all the goodies which will be door prizes for Monday’s zumba class…3-4 canvases and several key fob sets.  All you have to do is show up and write your name on a slip of paper…oh and then get sweaty with Janet.  And remember if you’re new and trying Janet’s class for the first time, I’ve got your $3 covered.  FREE CLASS.  I want to fill the gym up until there’s hardly any room to bust a move.  So plan for it now and tell your friends too.  The more the merrier.

Speaking of you guys being amazing…Gigantic thank yous all around.  We are at $4,560 towards our $5K goal.  I just cannot even believe it and it makes my heart soar.  Your kindness and generosity are incredible and contagious.  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.  There is still plenty of time to donate HERE and when you make a $15 or more donation I’ll mail you a sweet key fob as a small way to show our gratitude.  Don’t forget after you make your donation GO HERE and send me your mailing address.

About those healthy cookies….bahahahahaha…you guys had me cracking up and my inbox was flooded with lots of new healthy cookie recipes you guys are swearing by.  I’m excited to try them.  I text Courtney this morning and confessed Amon is still eating them…like 2 every single morning.  I do think it’s making him poop a whole lot more which has resulted in terrible diaper rash.  This is what happens when you try and be all healthy like.  Nothing good comes from it, only craptasticness…see what I did there.  I kid.  Kind of.  No, we really are trying to be a bit more healthy.  Here is the aftermath of our ‘make-your-own-salad-night’.  It’s actually one of our most favorite meals…even the wee Kelleys love it.

To totally negate the whole salad thing, here we are enjoying a Friday with candy.  And I am completely aware of how, ummmm, special my kids look.  Take note of the PJs being sported at 3pm on Friday afternoon, the belly shirts and the fact that Hudson clearly does not know what to do with his hands in true Ricky Bobby fashion.

Then to negate, negate…maybe that’s a double negate…this is getting out of hand…the candy picture…running pics.  We even got all creative and tried to form a heart.  Dang you Betsy’s head.

And my niece Lyla was having an online Yankee Candle school fundraiser, so I got to purchase this candle and help her school out.  I debated between Whoopie Pie or Cranberry Chutney.  I’m totally kidding.  Cranberry Chutney sounds like a bad dish at Thanksgiving.  Give me whoopie pie all 7 days of the week.  Should this some how triple negate the running pics?!?!

Thanks for putting up with my randomness and crazy, totally-write-like-I-thinkness.  I’m so grateful you stop by.  Thank You!

Here’s to a chill day.  I’m working on orders and Zumba door prizes.  All my boys are just hanging out being boys.  I hope you have a great weekend.  One that’s super awesome and encouraging and makes you feel like you won the lottery.  Yes.  That kind of weekend.

Happy Friday!

Insta Friday

What a week.  It’s been a crazy and good one, that’s for sure.  And I’m pumped for a long weekend.  So here’s some Instagram pics from the past week.  If you want to follow along I’m pitterpatterart.

He kind of only wears stripes.  Like all the times.  Smiles and stripes is his go-to look…and I’m totally cool with that.

Amon love the Kitchen Aid stand mixer.  They are bffs…4-life!

Posted my first ever sun rise/sun set picture on Instagram.  I kind of didn’t have a choice.  It was around 5am and the sky looked on fire…crazy, amazing on fire.  I even stopped and got out of my car to take it.  I made sure there were no cars coming…safety first when Instagramming.

Snickerdoodles are pretty much love in baked good form.  And baked goods can change the world…or at least make your principal and vice principal feel awesome.

I told Harper she could have anything she wanted for dinner since we were celebrating the last day of school.  She said, “Anything?”  I said, “Anything.”  Rainbow waffles it was.  I like her.

I just mixed up the waffle mix, divided it out into however many bowls I needed for each color, added the food coloring and then just randomly dumped the different colors onto our waffle maker.  Totally easy.  Everyone declared they were the best waffles I’ve ever made.  Of course they were.

And the aftermath of the last day of school and soccer practice and rainbow waffles and a late night baseball game.  There are so many dishes in the pile…ugh…time to get washing.

Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  I sooooo love a long weekend.  Enjoy.

Happy Friday.
