Happy Thanksgiving

Last Thanksgiving was our second one waiting for our son.  We had just buried Mom the day before and I was feeling quite hopeless.  We had not seen his face…we had no clue who he was.  Time was just a tricky little thing and sadness and longing were deep and real.

And now…here we are.  Our family together…all 6 of us.  Amon is home and God is healing our hearts in more than one way.  We have much…so very much…to be thankful for.  Truly thankful for a God who restores and redeems and knits families together with such care and love and perfection.  Thankful for a God who loves us like no other.  Truly thankful for my sweet little family…and most definitely that Amon is home.
