Friday!!

Crazy pumped it’s Friday.  We’ve got a whole lot of nothing on our agenda for the weekend and I feel the need to tell you a few important things.

1.  I made THIS soup for tonight’s dinner.  I taste tested already and it’s pretty dang tasty.  And way easy.

2.  It’s Friday which means Sonic happy hour.  Solomon is Sonic happy hour’s #1 super fan.  He asks me days in advance each week if we’re doing happy hour on Friday.  I told him a big yes earlier in the week, so it’s a go.  The last two times we’ve been I got a cherry limeade.  They’re kind of totally delicious.

3.  I have several Bible journaling things…a) I’ve updates my Bible Journaling Supply post so everything is all neat and tidy.  I get the most emails and questions about supplies, so new Amazon links are up..including which Bible and watercolor set I use…for those who do not want to even leave their house.  b) I also started a PPA Bible journaling Pinterest board and hope to remember to link new pages/layouts/etc as I go from here on out.  I might try and go back to add some past pages, but it makes me tired just thinking about it 🙂  And c)  I’m coming to Memphis to teach a class on Friday January 29th from 6-9.  Email me or message me HERE if you are interested.

4.  Amon is pretty much just like a cat.

5.  If you were/are thinking about going to Swaziland with us I need to know the first week of February. Our trip is closing in fast and I’ve got to get all our ducks in a row.  You can read more about the trip HERE.

6.  I’m making THESE for my SILs birthday dance party.  I know what you’re thinking…birthday dance party sounds like legit fun.  It is!!!

7.  An UPS dude delivered a printer to our house today.  This is going to pretty much change my life.  I mean, I put “get a printer” on my list of goals for 2016.  I’m also pretty much an overachiever considering it’s January 15th 🙂  I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am.  I was quite nervous about purchasing one…it felt like a big decision similar to life insurance and which flavor ice-cream to get at Baskin Robbins.  I did a little research, so hope I made a good choice.  I’ll report back.

8.  I worked on a pretty neutral painting the other day.  This was big for my crazy-color-loving-self.  In the end, totally digging the neutral, clean feel.

And 9) I love sending mail.  It’s true.  Long live snail mail.  And I recently discovered a new line of cards by Hallmark called Studio Ink.  Oh wow.  I am in love love love.  Thank you Kroger for caring a perfect little section of them.  So cute and colorful and creative and funny!
