Our Son

Wow, how crazy was that to even write. Today we received OUR CALL and we have officially been matched with a sweet little 3-month-old baby boy. This entire adoption process has been nothing short of God’s hand. We are floored and in total awe. We actually got all of our “Welcome Papers” papers right before Thanksgiving, got our homestudy and dossier done in record time, our immigration paper that is suppose to take 60-90 days in 21 and now have been on the waiting list a grand total of 50 days…that’s a month and a half people. All I can say is WOW! We are crazy with excitement and cannot, seriously cannot wait to get our hands on this little guy and bring him home. Harper is already proclaiming, “I got 2 baby bruders” and tonight informed me that new baby brother needed an orange blankie…we’ll see about that one. So what are we doing now, other than picking our jaws off the floor and me wiping a flood of tears from my eyes (and I am not usually a big cryer) Well now we are getting ready for a HUGE yard sale May 29th and 30th. If you have items you would like to donate we will be glad to come and pick them up. We are also hoping to sell some baked goods, so calling all cooks if you can lend a hand and maybe some rice krispies. It’s crunch time. Summer is coming soon and we are Ethiopia bound. Wow!
