Just Business

Well the Kelley family has been insane lately.  We are so crazy busy that this momma is on the verge of loosing it.  I know life just gets like this sometimes and I am looking forward to next week when life seems to be taking a lull.

Also I have decided that laundry and dishes are officially my arch nemesis (like most moms, I’m sure)…with 5 people (3 being small kiddos) dishes and laundry and in abundance and most of the time, my cup runneth over.

I have officially quit taking new orders, so I can do major catch up on my order list.  This past week I made some minor dents in my list.

These camera straps were ordered by Emily in Minnesota, Casey in Alabama, Laura in Johson City, Tennessee, Jody in Louisiana and Carisa in Pikeville, Tennessee.  Thanks so much ladies…totally appreciate your business.

This 16×20 1 Corinthians 13 canvas was ordered by Deborah in Arkansas.  I love all the colors and patterns…just makes me happy.  Thanks so much Deborah and hope you love the piece.

This little taggie blanket was ordered by wonderful Dana at Lifelines Designs.  Are you tired of hearing how fantastic Dana is?  She does all my digital designing and I cannot say enough good things about her.  Make sure you check out her shop HERE.  And go “like” her on Facebook while you are at it…she does not disappoint.  Thanks Dana…you rock, as always.

Allison in Mississippi ordered this sweet little monkey onesie for her little monkey who’s on its way.  Thanks so much Allison and hope the rest of your pregnancy is a breeze 🙂

Cari in Goodlettsville, Tn ordered this floral key fob for her sweet mom and a cool fabric bracelet for her daughter.  Thanks Cari…as always.

And this 18×18 canvas was a gift for my friend Ashley who is getting married this weekend.  Harper is Ashley’s flower girl, so of course we are just too excited about this wedding.  I wanted to make Ashley something special, so I asked her to gather important notes, ticket stubs, invitations, cards etc that she and her fiance’ Adam had kept during their relationship.  I made copies of all the items and used them for the background of the canvas.  Then I used the verse Jeremiah 29:11 that Ashley chose.  This was a nerve racking piece to me for some reason, but I just wanted to get it right.  Ashley loved it, so I was pleased.  Hope your marriage is nothing short of amazing Ashley…love you!

When I have such a large order list and am always working to get everyone’s orders completed, sometimes I just have to take a little break and make something I have been wanting to make.  Like a crafty day off, except I make something that has been running around in my brain.  Last week was one of those times, so I made up this little 8×8 canvas and gave it away on my PPA Facebook page.  I really love how it turned out and it was nice to just create something new and then share it with someone else.

My kiddos have been pretty busy themselves.  Harper started soccer…

And the boys have been busy taking their pants off…a lot…like every time I turn around.

And lastly, if you are Tanyia and you entered our 3 Months Waiting Giveaway, I’m still looking for you 🙂  You can view the winners post HERE to see if you were the Tanyia who won.

Happy Tuesday!
