Friday Randomness

I do love Fridays.  They may be my favorite day of the week…I just like them.

So have you seen those super fun feathers that lots of women and apparently little girls are wearing?  Well my niece Campbell came over yesterday evening and informed me that she thought they were so very cool!  I suggested we go get some and she was totally game and rather excited about it as well.

They were so easy to put in and super quick.  Campbell was crazy excited…I love doing stuff like this with her.

I asked the lady after she had finished Campbell’s if it was totally lame that I wanted one as well…of course she said no.  So I got one.  A bright thin teal one…I’ll be honest…I really like it.  Guilty as charged.

I wasn’t exactly ready for pictures…it had been a long rough day…the kind of day you do not want to recap AT.ALL.  A  lot going on and stuff I just don’t want to deal with.  But a little teal feather and some time with Campbell made it all okay.

I made up some fun key fobs last night and gave them away on my PPA Facebook page today.  I like giving things away…it makes me feel good.

This is what I have been working on lately…

That my friends is a whole lot of girl scout key fobs.  Still have to add the troop # to each, add some hardware and I will be done.  They are oh, so cute.

We ate lunch with Campbell today at school.  We love to do this and often.  I like watching my kids watch all the other kids…very entertaining.  We visit their school pretty often, so their friends know who we are.  Last time we ate with Cooper it was just Sol and me…you would have thought Sol was a mini celebrity.  All of Coop’s friends from last year’s class were coming up to him to get high fives and fist bumps.

The boys will not stop shaking this crape myrtle tree.  They love how it “snows”…I’m afraid they are going to kill it.  Rest In Peace my pretty crape myrtle.

We are still waiting.  Waiting and waiting and waiting some more.

You may not want to look directly at the boys guns…they are quite intimidating.

And top 3 things I am excited about for the weekend:

1)  Flea market time with my mom tomorrow morning

2)  My first Titans football game tomorrow night with Josh (Thanks Tyler!)

3)  And my nephew Cooper’s Warrior Dash birthday party Sunday.  We worked all tonight on the big obstacle course…it is going to be so much fun!
