Busy, Busy, Busy

I have been swamped, in fact that might be an understatement. We have so much going on and I have so many orders right now…it’s great.  We are filling out paperwork like crazy people. We are scheduled for our physicals on December 30th and January 6th and then all our paperwork will be sent off and we will start our home study. YEA!! Here is picture of our first really important document, our I600A before Josh took it to the post office.

On to projects… This first shirt was for little nephew Jack’s first birthday. I wanted to make him just a little something homemade so I went with a J. I love how it turned out .

This is a 5×7 mixed media piece ordered by Kelly for her sister (my sister-in-law) Katy. It was a surprise Christmas gift from Kelly and Katy later told me she loved it.

I wanted to make Hud something special for him to sport Christmas Eve, but wanted him to be able to wear it throught the winter, so I went with a penguin. It fit him quite well and I love it. He also received a bat and wobble penguin for Christmas from his Aunt Becky and Uncle Andy–which he loves and talks to all the time…we have lovingly named the penguin Pete.

Next my sister-in-law Becky ordered two shirts to give as gifts to two of her friends children. The first one was for a friend of her’s little boy Daniel who lives in California. Daniel’s Chinese name is sea dragon, so Becky got me to do the Chinese character for dragon on a cool California style shirt. Love the blue.

The other shirt was for a little one named Oliver who loves cars. I really like how this turned out and I especially love the flag on the back.

Lastly, this is a 5×7 variation of the Names of Jesus piece. I made this piece for our family Hall reunion and really love the smaller, bookshelf size. My cousin Jenny won it and even emailed me today to let me know how happy she was that she won it.

So that is all for now, but I will be back soon for more. Please keep us in mind and continue to pray for our adoption journey. Also PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE share our story with whomever you would like…email, blog, blogroll, facebook, etc.  Thanks everyone for your business. I appreciate it more than you know.
