Back To The Random

Happy Friday party people!  So many thoughts swirling in this wild brain of mine, but for today I’m sticking to the light hearted random which I know pretty well.  I mean, it is Friday.  We’ve got camping plans and by camping I mean a tent in our back yard and I bought s’more supplies, hot dogs and Lays potato chips for dinner.

Amon made his first purchase with his own money today.  It was adorable/exhausting/he took an eternity deciding.  He finally went with a mini baseball bat & ball and a small motorcycle lego kit.  I vetoed the large Han Solo. #thoseeyes

One of my favorite things about traveling is bringing home souvenirs.  Totally my jam.  And then I package them up and ship them out because mail containing crazy beautiful African surprises is the best!

If only you could hear this picture.  Our current littlest has been struggling a bit lately…lots of tears, lots of extra feistiness, lots of big emotions for a tiny human.  I’m learning more and more how dang important praying and petitioning God with my requests, worries and thanksgiving is.

More Swazi stories and posts are coming for next week because I just can’t stop yet.  We also did a safari on our last day in country.  It was the most amazing thing ever…like I got all emotional at the sunset and stars…I was all sorts of calm, cool and collective…a born leader 🙂  I utilized my selfie stick a lot too.  This was one of my faves.

Practice, practice, practice.  Even outside while a small gang of children run wild.

When they Bible journal with me I kind of love it…minus all of Amon’s pen marks on our comforter and ummmm, the 47 questions.  And I still have 9 spots available for July’s Bible Journaling Class.  Come on now, you know you want to come hang out at our house and eat cookies…peer pressure a friend into coming with you!
