4 Months Waiting Giveaway

It’s that time again.  We have been waiting for our next little guy for 4 months now.  Honestly, I did not think we would even be waiting this long, even though 4 months isn’t that long…not complaining at all.

I wasn’t really sure what quote/verse/lyric I wanted to use for 4 months and then I ran across this song lyric by the Counting Crows:

It has been four days and nights
All I want is something fine
It gets harder every time
She is sleeping far away
Take a breath
Take your time
Spread your wings and rise

It just struck me and I loved it for what I was wanting to create this time on a 8×10 canvas.  My kids have been totally into daffodils lately and I knew I wanted to use some type of daffodil design and honestly, with spring finally showing up little by little, it reminds me that hope matters.  Even when I do not see God working I have hope and trust in the fact that He is working and moving in ways I may not physically see, but one day, I will see and how amazing and beautiful it will be.  I look forward to that day.

There are several ways to enter to win (please leave a separate comment for each entry):

Giveaway will end this Friday, March 18th at midnight and the winner will be announced on Saturday.

I was able to get some more orders completed today.  This Africa tee was ordered by Holly in New York.  Holly wanted to celebrate a milestone in their adoption process with a PPA Africa tee.  She mailed in a tee and all her specifics and I set to work.  Thanks so much Holly and hope your adoption journey is quick and smooth.

These key fobs are headed to Morgan in Texas.  Thanks so much Morgan and hope everyone loves them.

These key fobs were ordered by Nina in Illinois and Jessica in Texas.

Jessica also wanted a 3/4″ pendant with her kiddos names on it.  Thanks so much ladies…totally appreciate your business.

Hope everyone has a fantastic Wednesday and here’s to the Kelley family being another month closer to our sweet boy!

  5. I am reminded of hope each time I look at our son. We are adopting domestically. After several years of wanting a family, we got a call and had our son in 38 hours. We are in love and the Lord has restored my hope!

I thought I left this earlier but now it isn’t showing up, sorry if it comes through twice.

  6. It’s beautiful… keep the faith…

  7. Love this! Hope is my word of the year. We are in the middle of an adoption and I have to cling to that when times get tough. I am reminded of hope when I see our friends adopted kids. Even though the road is tough it is so worth it!

  60. It may sound strange but at this time of the year we start to get a ton of requests for donations from all our friends for this marathon or that bike race or this cause. We give a little to everyone because the hope that springs from each person doing the running, walking, biking, etc. is multiplied exponentially when people donate!

  63. Cathy Thomas says:

I am reminded of hope every time I see our baby girl. We adopted domestically 9 months ago and our story was beautifully written by God, better than I could have ever imagined.

  64. I’m not usually a person that puts a lot of stock in “signs” from God, but at the end of our 1st adoption trip, we were having to leave our son in that country and had just forked over mega bucks for lodging, translation (a few hundred dollars more than we’d be told to expect), God gave us a glimpse that He had it all handled.

As we were being driven to the airport and praying and questioning God where all the rest of the money was going to come from, we looked out the car window and there was a double rainbow. I felt like it was the Lord saying, “your hope is in Me. Not your circumstances, or what you can see.”

Hope- when I met Ryan he was a lost soul! We were both going through a really hard time, I knew he could be anything he wanted to be, but the situation he was in and the people he was around, were bringing him down. I knew if I could just be someone he could talk to, cry to, be a best friend to him, I had HOPE he would over come everything, and he the man he is today! It worked- with alot of prayers also!!

  129. Our daugther’s name is Hope. We had been through 3 miscarriages and I attended a Women of Faith Conference. While there I felt God telling me that we’d have a baby girl and name her Hope. We got pregnant again and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Now we are in process to bring home our sweet Ethiopian boy and I have hope that in the midst of all that is going on, God will see us through, for He has called us to be on this journey. What a beautiful canvas showing us all hope!
