Sweet Orders

I have had the privilege of working on some very sentimental and sweet orders lately.  This first order is headed to Courtney in Brentwood, Tennessee.  Courtney and her husband are in the process of adopting their son from Ethiopia and will actually be traveling to get him, crossing fingers, this month.  Courtney wanted an Africa shirt for herself and a special tee for her little boy to wear for his homecoming.  For her son’s tee she wanted the outline of the United States in yellow (his favorite color) with a heart over Tennessee.  After I finished her order, her husband saw the tees and wanted one for himself.  This was my first Africa tee for a dad.  So excited I finally got a daddy to jump on the Africa tee bandwagon!  Thanks for your business Courtney and congrats!

This next order is headed to Amanda in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Amanda had some awesome song lyrics and some amazing pictures from a meaningful trip and she asked me to combine those on a 16×20 canvas in a mixed media style.  I cannot begin to tell you how excited I get about creating new art.  It is a process I cannot describe and when it is complete, it’s just an amazing feeling.  I love how this piece turned out and Amanda seems to agree.  Thanks again so much Amanda.

And summer is just around the corner, which means school is coming to an end.  I am getting orders for teacher gifts which I totally love.  The popular items being ordered are 8×10 Names of Jesus pieces and keyfobs.  Let me know if some special teachers in your life need a special thank you gift.

And again, we received another Kroger card in the mail a few weeks back and just wanted to make sure that I publicly thank whoever is sending these gift cards to us.  So THANK YOU whoever you are.  We are so appreciative.

Flooding In Tennessee

If you haven’t seen the news and do not live in the Tennessee area then let me tell you…Tennessee is a mess.  Major parts of Tennessee are flooded and flooded bad.  It has been the craziest thing.  We were very, very fortunate to have had no major damage to our house…just a few leaks, but our house was built in like 1948…so what would you expect.  Please pray for the flood victims of Tennessee and that everything is put back together soon.  Onto some recent orders.

This first order was placed by Laurie in Indiana.  She wanted an Africa tee to show some love and she loved the bird print that I am totally in love with too.  So cute and so springy.  Thanks so much Laurie for your business.

And this next Africa tee is headed to Melinda in Illinois.  She wanted a sweet Africa tee for a Mother’s Day gift for her mom.  I must say, all these mom’s ordering Africa tees for their own mother’s because they have grandkids from Africa is just too sweet.  And I love this new print.  Thanks again Melinda.

Have a great week!
