More Orders

This first order was ordered by Dana in New Mexico.  She saw a recent taggie blanket I had done for my friend Kelly and she had to have one for her new baby girl Reagan.  Thanks Dana so much and hope Reagan enjoys her new taggie blanket.

This next order was placed by Heather in Ireland, but was going to her friend Kelly right down the road in Brentwood.  She ordered a cloth block and bird onesie for Kelly’s new baby girl Emily and also ordered a letter “d” shirt for Emily’s big brother Drew.  Thanks Heather for your order!

This next order was placed by Shannon in North Carolina.  She loved Huddy’s baseball themed letter tees I had done and ordered mathcing tees for two of her nephews.  Thanks Shannon so much and I know your nephews will be dolls in their pitter patter tees.

And lastly this Africa shirt was ordered by Allison in Kentucky.  Her family is in the process of adopting from Ethiopia and she wanted a shirt to show her love.  It was a pleasure Allison and I hope your process goes smoothly and you are hloding your sweet child soon.  Thanks so much!

I Love This Girl

Enough said about that!

Onto some orders…This first shirt was ordered by my sister-in-law Kim for my little niece McKinley.  McKinley wanted a cat and that is what she got.

This next order was placed by Kelly for a giant letter E.  Her little girl Emily just arrived at the beginning of October.  Can’t wait to meet her Kelly and thanks again.

These Africa shirt were ordered by Cindi in Texas.  She wanted two, one for each of her girls.  They are in the process of adopting from Ethiopia as well.  Hope everything goes smoothly and thanks again Cindi so much.

These next Africa tees are headed to Amy in Ohio.  Their family just got started on their adoption from Ethiopia and she needed some shirts to show her love.  Hope they too have a smooth adoption and have their sweet child soon.  Thanks Amy.

Lastly is a girly skull and crossbones tee ordered by Meredith in North Carolina.  Hope the little cutie wearing it loves it.  Thanks Meredith, as always, for your business.

Gifts, Gifts and more Gifts

Okay so this first one is an order…My cousin Karen ordered this painting for her new little boy Nate.  She wanted the painting to be very clean and simple and she requested blues and browns.  She also asked that I add the meaning of each of his names smaller…I aim to please and hope she loves it.  Thanks again Karen.

Now onto some gifts.  I have had a to do list of gifts for a while and decided that it was time to actually finish them.  This first gift is for my friend Brea whos new little man Joshua arrived in May (yes I know I am behind)  I did a big letter for Brea’s youngest daughter and when I asked her what she would like for her baby gift she said she would love another letter.  I think it turned out quite cute and sorry Brea it is so late.

Next is a baby gift for another friend of mine Kelly.  She is also my sister-in-law’s sister…did you get that?  She just had her first baby girl at the beginning of this month, baby Emily.  And she is a doll.  Emily’s room is in pinks and browns and since she is a fall baby, I decided to try and stick with some fallish colors.  Can’t wait to meet sweet Emily!  Congrats Kelly.

Lastly my niece Lyla turned 3 the other day and today she had her princess birthday party.  Harper had a blast!  I ended up making Lyla a princess castle shirt, a much needed bow holder for all her cute little bows and a fabric match game with a little box to hold her match game.  I think she had a great party and we love that girl tons.

Hope you guys enjoyed some new items.  Also please don’t forget that all proceeds from my site are going towards the people in the All Saints Aids camp in Nassau, Bahamas until January.  Cannot wait to see what God does with this money.

Just Because

I just finished up my last order and I have been working on lots of gifts that I needed to give to some special people.  Can’t wait to post all of them.  I will start all new orders on Monday, but in the mean time here are 2 pictures just because.  And can I just say that one of the absolute best things in life is the way my kids love each other.  Seriously, God truly blessed us with kids who have not a jealous bone in their bodies…knock on wood.  And the brotherly love Hud and Sol have for each other even at this young age is just priceless to us.  Enjoy!

Taking New Orders

Alright, I am taking new orders.  I won’t be starting any until Monday because I have one order left to complete and a few gifts that need to get done.  Also, I am not limiting the spots to 10 because Josh is about to head out to Swaziland and I am going to have ample time at night after the kids go to bed, so I will just be taking orders until it gets out of control…you guys know how it works.  So email me and let me know if you need something.  And here are a few orders that I have completed lately.

These 2 Africa shirts were ordered by my friend Tracy, who just got home from Ethiopia with their baby boy Nile.  He is such a sweet baby.  Sol and Nile are just 3 months apart and I look forward to them being such close buddies.  Thanks Tracy!

This letter set was ordered by Christine.  She has 3 kiddos and wanted one individual letter set for each child.  Hope they love them and thanks so much Christine.

My sister-in-law Kim ordered these shirts for my nephew Jack.  My brother is WAY into skulls and crossbones, so Kim let me do a skully tee for Jack.  She also wanted a truck shirt and my brother was all about Monster Truck ralleys as a kid, so I couldn’t think of anything more appropriate.  Thanks Kim!

Lastly this is part of an order for my cousin Karen.  She wanted a “n” tee and burp cloth for her new little one Nate.  I also am working on an art piece for Nate that Karen ordered as well.  I will post that in the next few days.  Thanks Karen for your orders.  I’m sure Nate will be a doll in them.

New Order

This order was placed by Rebecca.  The first shirt she ordered for her little boy is for the Tennessee/Georgia game this weekend.  Rebecca and her husband, are again, one of those house divided type families.  One being a Tennessee fan and the other a Georgia fan.  So she needed something appropriate for their little guy to sport to the game. I can’t help, but always put the “T” on top.  You know how that goes.

The next shirt she ordered is super special and I feel totally honored to have made it.  Rebecca’s husband is going to be deployed soon and she asked if I could make a special shirt for their son to wear when they see him off.  She wanted his unit number and then left the rest up to me.  The unit colors and blue and green so I stuck with those colors and then added a flag to the sleeve.  I know their little guy will be too cute supporting his dad in this shirt.  A big thank you to anyone who has served or is serving our country.  What an amazing sacrafice.  And thanks Rebecca for your order.

Happy 1st Birthday Huddy!

My little Huddy turned 1 on September 29th and we had his baseball themed party this past weekend.  It was so much fun and I’m pretty sure all the cousins had a blast.  Really I think it was Harper’s “best day ever”.  There are three birthday tradtions Josh and I decided to have for our kids once Harper was born…some of you may remember them from Harper’s previous birthday posts..but here they are:

1) We decorate their bedroom door in classic birthday Kelley style

2) Cake for breakfast on their birthday

3) Chalk drawings on birthday party day

Huddy really had a great birthday and he totally LOVED his cake.  I have never seen a kid go face first, but that was his method of choice.  He finally used his hands after a little help from me and then he was down to business.  I have NEVER seen a kid eat as much as he does and he would have polished this cake off easy, if we hadn’t taken it away. Seriously, he eats like a grown man and is only in the 12% of weight…I asked if he had a tape worm 🙂

For treat bags I went all baseball themed: cracker jacks, Big League chew, wax bottles, mini Baby Ruth, pack of baseball cards, baseball bean bag and a shirt.

I didn’t want to do baseball shirts for all the cousins since we do have some girly girls in the mix, so I chose corresponding diamond and cirlce patterns and did their first name initial.  Here are Harper’s, Hud’s and Sol’s.  Everyone seemed to love them.

We are so thankful for this sweet boy and can’t wait to see what God has in store for his life!  Happy Birthday Huddy, we love you tons!

PS:  Here are 2 new felt letter sets that went out last week.  Thanks Jen for your order… hope your nieces love them!
