Name Paintings

I wanted to share two orders I just finished up that were name pieces.  The first order was placed by Jennifer in Collierville.  She ordered a 20×24 football jersey with her little boys last name on it.  Her husband is a big Florida State fan and they wanted the jersey to match the Florida States jersey, plus match her little one’s All-Star bedding from Pottery Barn.   I aim to please and think it turned out great.  Thank you so much for your business Jennifer.

This next order was placed by Lana in Florida.  She ordered a 15×30 name panel with lots of sweet flowers, ants, butterflies and ladybugs to adorn the background.  Lana also ordered the previous trio nature paintings.  I think these will coordinate wonderfully in Savannah’s shabby chic nursery.  Thanks again so much Lana for your business.

Girly Nature

I wanted to share my most recent custom order I completed just last night.  I actually painted the originals of these for my little niece McKinley before she was born and her paintings were a large 24×24.  These were ordered my Lana in Florida for her little baby girl Savannah who is due in July.  Lana chose a very sweet, shabby chic bedding and wanted some pieces to go with it.  She loved the trio set I did for McKinley, but wanted the colors a little more muted, not as bright and 12×12 canvas sizes…I was glad to help.  I think these will look great in Savannah’s room.  Thank you Lana for your business.

My Crabby Favorite

I recently got an order from Mandy over at Sweet Treats, for two crabby shirts for her little boys. She brought me a pair of their swimming trunks for this summer and asked for me to make a crab shirt to match for each of them. These are my new favorite. I think they turned out too cute. I used two different red patterened fabrics, one for the main body and the other for the crazy legs. I added cute little button eyes and triple stitched it all in white thread. I also added a navy blue backing and left a slight frayed edge, so when it frays a little more, it will show the navy color even better. I think Harper might be getting a girly crab for summer now too. Anyways, thanks again Mandy for your business. I know Levi and Luke will be rockin’ in these crabby shirts.

Teacher Gifts and Bow Holders

I wanted to share two of my most recent custom orders I just completed.

The first order was placed by my cousin Rebecca who lives in Collierville.  Her oldest boy Grant will be starting Kindergarten this fall and she wanted something special to give his preschool teachers to show her appreciation for all their work.  She ordered two matching red flower pieces.  They are 5×7, so a nice desk or book shelf size.  One of Grant’s teachers loves ladybugs, so on her painting I added three small ladybugs…very discretely.  I think they turned out well and I hope Grant’s teachers love them and feel greatly appreciated by the thought in this gift by Rebecca.  Thanks Becca and can’t wait to see you guys next weekend.

My next order was placed by Julie for her little girl Kate.  She wanted a bow holder that would match Kate’s shabby chic room decor.  I used a light rose pink for the base background, then added the white over the top of it and scraped a gingham pattern for the main background.  I used a darker rose for the K and added cute shabby chic ribbon with a bit of pale yellow and green.  Thanks Julie for you order and I hope this goes perfect in Kate’s room.

Kelley Baby and more

Today we went for our ultrasound and we are officially having a baby BOY!!!  Yea!! We are very excited.  It was such a great time while myself and “Uncle Craig” (that’s our ultrasound guy) cried together once he said it was a boy.  I’m not kidding.  There we two were with out Kleenex crying together, while Josh and Harper just stared at us.  It was great.  Anyways just wanted to keep everyone updated.  Also look for new items coming soon.  I have so much I am working on: a new bow holder, crab shirts, teacher gifts, a football jersey painting, a baby onesie and burpcloth set, another wedding gift, a name piece and a trio shabby chic painting set.  Our lives are crazy right now, but SO much fun.  Have a great weekend everyone.
