More Weenie Dogs

I made these two boy weenie dogs for my little cousins Grant and Garrett. Grant loves our dog Carmen, so I thought he would love this shirt. He even told me, “Laura, I like my shirt.” He is such a sweet, polite little boy. I know Garrett and he will look too sweet in their shirts.

New Abstract Order

This is an order that I completed yesterday and delivered this morning. It was ordered for a nephew who is about to be graduating highschool. What a unique gift. Christy, the aunt, wanted the verse, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 I thought that was extremely appropriate for a graduating senior. She wanted something masculine and loved the abstracts that I had done previously. So I centered a big sqaure in the middle, for the verse, and surrounded the verse with smaller, other shaped squares and rectangles. I think it turned out great. Thanks Christy for your business and I hope your nephew loves it.

New Name Painting

This is an order that I completed today and I love how it turned out.  Tracy, a friend of mine, her mother-in-law and sister-in-law ordred this for a good friend of theirs that recently adopted a new little bay boy.  His name is Cohen..  I think that is too cute.  They wanted his name and the verse Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”  I hope the new mom loves it.

Busy, Busy, Busy

I have been so busy lately with so many orders and that’s a great thing. I finished up two orders and got one delivered today. The first was for a painting similar to one I posted recently – messy, thick paint, flowers and vases. It was ordered to be given as a Happy Anniversary/Retirement present. The recipient, Alice, loves calla lilies, so I added more of those. I think it turned out well and I hope Alice loves it.

The next order I completed was ordered by a grandmother for her grandaugther. I thought that was so sweet. The grandmother, Karene, wanted one of the 24 inch letters I do. Caroline loves soccer, Hello Kitty, Bible verses, butterflies and glitter. So I tried to deliver on all accounts. One thing I love about this letter is, more than likely Caroline will change interests, so I used small clips to hold the soccerball and Hello Kitty in place. If she decides she likes something better, she can just pull one of those off and clip up something else she might like. Also I love this paper. Karene told me Caroline’s room was in a light lavendar, with some yellow and green. I think this will pop on her walls really nicely. I hope Karene and Caroline love it. Thanks for your business.

Harper’s Easter Dress

This is quite late, I know, but Harper wore her Easter dress for a few shots in her 1 year photos today and it dawned on me, “I don’t think I ever posted Harper’s dress.”  Now I did not make the dress itself.  I bought it at Ross for $4.00, you have got to LOVE Ross.  But I thought it was a little plain, so I added a huge colorful flower to the side.  Harper looked WAY CUTE in it on Easter and again today for her pictures.

More Summer

So today I completed two more onesies for my new little niece, who will be arriving in August. Again they are very summery and bright. Also after viewing my pictures, I realize I forgot to iron them before being photgraphed. Hope you still get the main idea. I just love summer!!

New Summer For My New Niece

Recently we found out that my sister-in-law Becky and brother-in-law Andy will be having a baby at the end of August. They just got there 20 week sonogram and they are having a little girl. We love girls, so we are super excited about having another little niece and Harper another girly cousin. Well no niece shall go unclothed, so of course I had to get started on some new summer onesies for her. I really love how cute, bright and summery they are. I hope she likes them too. I’m sure she will be TOO CUTE in them. We can’t wait to meet her.

Commit To The Lord

I received another order the other day and just finished it up last night and wanted to share. It was for a 10×10 painting that contained the verse, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do and your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 I really love doing paintings where people want the painted frame around it. I just think it’s really different and neat looking. I like how the painting is bold and bright…the message stands out clear. Courtney I hope you love it and thanks again for all your business.
