Fabric Choices and New Items

Happy is my middle name.  At the top of my site you will now notice a “Fabric” button and now you can view all my available fabrics…yippie!  No more emailing fabric swatch pictures for me.  So excited and I will update it every time I get new fabrics.

So browse away and pick your favorites for you order.

And I am super excited about another new key fob.  Laura in Mississippi wanted a key fob with scripture and then one with the word “Chosen” on it.  I set to work to make that happen and love the final product.  I also made an additional one for my sister-in-law who’s motto for 2010 is from the poem Invictus.  I already posted these on my Facebook page and have more in the works.  Let me know if you need one.  The ink will not bleed or fade and is waterproof.  Oh how I love these.

And this key fob is headed to Angie in Collierville, Tn.  Thanks so much Angie.

This next order was placed by Dana in New Mexico.  Dana is my go to lady for all my business items…business cards, gift certificates, fabric tags, etc.  She totally rocks. Check out her store here.

Dana’s little girl is about to turn one and she wanted a special tee for her birthday gift.  Dana wanted a puppy tee using soft, textileish (is that a word) fabrics.  She even sent me pictures of some of her daughter’s favorite stuffed puppies she has at home.  I totally loved one of them and modeled the tee after it.

Thanks so much for your business, yet again Dana.  Oh and check out the Gotcha Day invites she designed for my sweet Sol.  I am in love.

This last order was placed by Miranda in Hendersonville, Tn.  She wanted a special 1st birthday tee for her little niece.  This is my new favorite cupcake.  Thanks again so much Miranda.

Also I will be out of town, AGAIN, this coming Wednesday, June 16th – Saturday, June 19th.  I will be in contact as much as I can, but  I am headed off to be the Matron of Honor is my best friend Ashley’s wedding and Harper is going to be rockin’ a flower girl dress as well.  So we will be very busy, but are super excited.  I love you Ashley and you are going to be one beautiful bride.

Happy Saturday!

I have so many ideas running around in my head and promise to have a giveaway soon…I can’t wait.  But I have also been working like crazy and here is some proof.

Key fobs are becoming quite the popular item.  These are headed to Buffy in North Carolina, Laura in Mississippi, Meghan in Nashville, Tn and Melissa in Hendersonville, Tn.  Thanks ladies.

And these are headed to Amy in Indiana (China key fob), CT in White House, Tn and Angie in Collierville, Tn.  Thanks ladies…hope all the recipients love them.

And these wood frames are headed to Megan in Florida.  Megan wanted a special Father’s Day gift for her husband…matching frames for him and his son.  I love how these turned out…etched, inked, painted and sealed with love.  Thanks Megan so much for your business.

This order is going to Christin in Georgia.  This is a 8×10 mixed media “adoption” piece, using Ephesians 1:4&5.  Christin thanks for the business…such a pleasure and I always am glad you work with you.  Hope you love your piece.

This set of Russia tees is headed to Shannon in Murfreesboro, Tn.  Shannon wanted two tees for her daughter, two tees for herself and one for the hubs.  Love them and all the new fabrics.  Thanks so much Shannon and hope you love all the tees.

And this last order was placed by Sarah in California.  She needed a sweet  little crown tee for her little girl and two adoption pieces for family members.  One family is adopting from Africa and the other family have children from a domestic and Haitian adoption.  The mom of the second family really loves oranges and greens, so for the background I went with cool patterned papers in her colors instead a country/continent shape.  Love how is turned out.  Thanks so much Sarah and hope everyone loves their gifts.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Huge Order

Monday night I finished up quite a big order and it felt great to finish.  This order of 14 tees is headed to Karen in Michigan.  Karen needed tees for their whole family to wear in the family pictures being taken at the end of June and I was delighted and honored that they wanted to sport Africa tees.  After we nailed down colors and patterns, I set to work after getting back from vacation.  Karen also wanted an extra polka dot print Africa tee for herself and two sweet birthday tees for her girls.  I was happy and obliged.  Karen thanks so much for your business and cannot wait to see your pictures.

I’m Back At It

Well our vacation was fabulous and my kiddos had the best time on the beach, in the pool and with their cousins.  It was an awesome time and good to just get away.  Here are some of my favorite pictures of these sweet three.  Seriously, they loved everything.

Before we left, my sister-in-law Kim asked me about making my niece McKinley and nephew Jack a sea creature shirt for the trip.  I was happy to oblige.  Jack really didn’t care about his too much, but McKinley was a different story.  She was very specific about what she wanted…a dolphin jumping over a sea shell on a pink shirt…well yes ma’am.  And that is exactly what she got.

I also had picked up this bright blue tee for Harper and had been itching to make her a new Africa tee, so why not push that in right before we headed out too…that’s just how I work.  I love this shirt and love the fabric.  Harper looks pretty cute sporting it too.

So we arrived back home Saturday night and immediately turned around and left to go visit my brother-in-law Andy, my sister-in- law Becky and my niece Meiya, who had arrived home from China (being gone almost a year) while we were away.  We just could not wait any longer to see them.  But once we got home that evening the nervousness and anxiety of all the orders I had not completed before leaving and all the orders that came in while I was gone, starting building.  I love what I do, but the OCD part of me, hates to keep people waiting and loves, loves, loves when an order is complete.  So Sunday came and I could wait no longer…orders needed to be started and that’s exactly what I did.

These two tees are headed to Amy and Sam in West Virginia…actually they are going to their sweet little twin boys Eli and Jonah.  These boys are amazing.  They were in Sol’s transition home and we all traveled together to Ethiopia and back home with our boys.  Amy and Sam are amazing and we had the best time with them in Ethiopia and their boys, well they are amazing too.  Josh and I were so impressed with these two.  They just grabbed our hearts and it didn’t hurt that they played soccer like grown men.  We loved being with them and seeing Amy and Sam meeting their boys for the first time.  We have so many pictures and great, great memories.  So glad they are apart of Sol’s story.  Amy, hope the boys love their tees.  It was a pleasure.

And this order is headed to Rebecca in Texas.  She wanted a sweet little letter “m” baby set for a friend of hers.  I love this combination of fabrics.  Thanks so much Rebecca and hope your friend loves it.

And here are some more new Africa key fobs.  They are headed to Adrian in Hendersonville, Tn, Meghan in Nashville, Tn and Christin in Georgia.  Thanks ladies so much.

There you have it.  I’m rested, rejuvenated and ready to work.  Also I will be having another giveaway soon…I was very much inspired on vacation and have lots of new ideas for art pieces and want to give one away.  Check back often.  Also don’t forget to join me on FACEBOOK HERE and Twitter HERE.

Be Back Soon

But until then, we are milking this vacation for all it’s worth.

Thanks Nina and Baba for the great picture!
