Two Posts In One Day

Finished a some-what large order today and wanted to go ahead and share.  This order was placed by Ashley in Kentucky.  Their family has a son from South Korea and she wanted a South Korea shirt to show some love.  She also wanted some new tees for her little boy to sport.  Hope he loves them and thanks again Ashley.  Check back tomorrow at noon for all the information on the giveaway.

Happy Monday

I am currently working on lots of orders, but especially two larger art pieces, that I am very excited about, but they do take much longer than just a shirt.  So please be patient with me, if I have not started your order yet…I will be very soon and cannot wait to post the end results.  Here are a few more recent orders I have completed.  This first order is headed to Jessica in Maine.  She wanted a sweet little sea turtle shirt on gray.  I really do love this shirt and have already made my Huddy one.  LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the dictionary word fabric…so unique and totally cool.  Thanks Jessica for your business.

This next cute little shirt was for Ashley’s (my hair dresser) daughter Cameryn.  Ashley is just the best and although I actually only get to have my hair done like every 6 months or sometimes longer (I know, I am really bad about keeping up with my hair), Ashley is always simply the sweetest and most helpful with my rag-a-muffin hair.  I have been going to her for years now.  Anyways hope Cameryn looks so sweet in her new little tee.

Happy Monday!  And check back soon for another giveaway.  I was asked a while back to be a guest giveaway on another cool blog.  I’ll clue you in more tomorrow.  Thanks!!!!

Mom Orders

My most recent orders I have completed have been for moms, but shirts they were purchasing for themselves.  I love that!

This first order is headed to Tracy in Maryland.  She wanted an Africa tee for herself to show some love.  This is the first maroon tee I have done and love it.  I think the blue looks awesome on it.  Thanks Tracy so much for your business.

Shannon in North Carolina ordered this next tee for herself.  She already has one of my Africa shirts, but is still in the adoption process, so she wanted a shirt that said “hope” just as a reminder that hope is what she is clinging to right now waiting for this sweet child to come home.  Totally melted my heart because those feelings are just too familiar.  So thanks Shannon so much.

And lastly, this tee is headed to Shayna right here in Tennessee.  Shayna actually won the custom tee giveaway I held recently and she was so sweet to work with and knew exactly what she wanted.  Her little girl plays softball and she wanted something special to wear to her games.  I was happy to create what she wanted.  Thanks again Shayna for keeping up with Pitter Patter Art and hope you love your shirt.

Ladybugs For Harper

I cannot turn my brain off tonight with all the thoughts from this weekend and all the orders still waiting to be completed and new ones to post, but for tonight my little 3-year-old Harper is the topic of writing.  Harper is the oldest at the recent young age of three and is a helper if there ever was one.  This little girl is good and she has a heart of gold.  We have prayed since the day she was born and even before that God would give her a tender heart and so far He has.  More than anything we have prayed for her to be kind, loving, compassionate, generous and respectful.  That she would love God and serve Him passionately and that she would put others before herself.  I write these things because she is the one we can really see major personality traits in and we can really see her life unfolding.  We pray she helps change the world and know that God is big enough to use her to do so.  She is something special.  So for her, choosing a party was important.  She has an opinion now and even had one last year with her request of a dinosaur party, but this year was major deliberation.  She thought and thought and thought.  Then FINALLY nailed it down.  She loves the book Ladybug Girl by Jacky Davis and David Soman and the little girl Lulu in the book even looks like Harper.  So I was happy to put my heart into a ladybug party fit just for Harper.  But of course we first needed to start with one ladybug door and some cake for breakfast on her actual birthday.

Moving onto the invitations…ladybugs of course

Chalk art to celebrate her special day and to greet guests

And a few decorations and cake of course for inside

Harper loved her party day and it was full of fun and tons of laughter and a very excited birthday girl.  I have never seen anyone enjoy the singing of Happy Birthday, quite the way Harper does.  She enjoys every second of it and looks at each person signing to her and just smiles…it really is her moment and she just soaks it up.

And all the kids had a blast.  The jump thing (is there a correct name for these things?) and a bubble maker from Aunt Kim and Uncle Chris were the hits.  A BIG thank you to Grandaddy for letting us use the jump thingy (I added a “y” that time) yet again.  It is becoming quite the popular item at our parties and the kids LOVE it.

And Campbell had another tooth that needed to be pulled…thought I would post some proof of my love of pulling teeth.

To thank all her cousins for their sweet gifts and for coming to the party, we did ladybug treat bags for the girls and spider treat bags for the boys.  I could not find any good and cheap ladybug or spider candy, so I ended up making suckers for all the kiddos and I think this may become a new tradition.  Love how they turned out.

It was really a wonderful day and God even provided the perfect weather we asked for.  We love you Harper and happy, happy birthday sweet girl.

Last birthday party pick of the day and our Christmas card picture for this year 🙂

Warm Weather Makes Me Happy

In Tennessee the weather has been amazing and that makes for some happy kiddos around our house.  We have been Easter egg hunting and playing outside non stop and it is wonderful.  We are all hoping for sunny weather Saturday for Harper’s birthday party.  She is super excited, rain or shine, she will be a happy little girl.  She loves parties of any type.  Love these wee-ones.

Now for some orders.  This first order is headed to Marilee in Kentucky.  She adopted a child from South Korea and wanted  a shirt to show her love.  I love all the adoption tees I do, but it’s exciting when someone picks a totally new fabric and shirt color.  Just kind of refreshing.  Thanks Marilee for your business.

This next order was placed by my dad, but is headed to Maryanne in Nashville.  He met a sweet couple through his work with 2  little girls and told Maryanne (the momma) to contact me and order anything she would like for those sweeties of hers.  So Maryanne contacted me and we set to work coming up with exactly what she wanted.  Maryanne’s oldest daughter will be having a birthday soon and she wanted a cupcake shirt for her to wear at her party and a matching “lil sis” tee for little sister.  LOVE these two sweet tees.  Thanks a million Dad and Maryanne hope you love your order.
