Bowling and Key Fobs

My cousin Rebecca contacted me recently about making some special birthday favor shirts.  Her little boy Grant is about to turn 6 and he is having a bowling birthday party with a few of his buddies from school.  Rebecca wanted bowling shirts for all the boys to wear while they bowled and for their party favors.  Grant is such a cool little kid and I was excited to create something for him and his friends.  Hope he has the best birthday!  Love you Granters!

And more key fobs went out today for Real Hope For Haiti donations.  Thanks so much and keep them coming.

Sweet News

Well Amos Ivey is home.  I posted earlier about Aaron and Jamie Ivey and their little boy Amos who was still in Haiti. Well over the course of one crazy 24 hours for the Iveys, Amos is now home and their family is complete.  I felt like a total stalker, as I did just that, stalked the Ivey’s twitter waiting to see the pictures of Amos finally in the US and with his mom and dad.  So a big Congrats to the Iveys and a Welcome Home to Amos!  You can read more about their story HERE and HERE.  And more thank yous to everyone who is still donating to Real Hope For Haiti Rescue Center.  I am waiting on more supplies to finish up key fobs, but have more key fobs that should be shipped out this week.  As long as people are donating, I will continue to mail out key fobs.  Please make sure you put your address in the comments section when donating.  And here are a few new orders.  This first order was placed by my friend Courtney.  Courtney needed some sweet little shirts, for a one of her friends’ little girl’s birthday.  And this little girl will soon be a big sister too.  I totally love the ladybug!  Thanks Courtney for you order.

And this last order was placed by my friend Alissa.  Alissa is a dental hygienist and her boss is having his first baby.  She wanted something toothy for the baby and it needed to be gender neutral since they are not finding out the sex.  I am honestly quite found of the little tooth and hope the parents-to-be love it too.  Thanks Alissa!

Haiti Donations

Thanks to everyone who has made a donation to the Real Hope For Haiti Rescue Center.  Please continue to make donations and I will continue to make and mail out key fobs.  I mailed out a big batch of key fobs today.  For more information either scroll down to the next post of just CLICK HERE.

(I flipped the packages, so no names and addresses would be out on the internet)

And for an order:  This order was placed by a great, great customer Ellen…who just keeps coming back.  Ellen needed a whale shirt for a sweet little boy, a special day plate for her own little Audrey Kate and a key fob for herself.  Thanks again Ellen…it really is always a pleasure.

And I have had a few emails asking about what kind of art I had made for Sol, so I thought I would share.  I wanted it to correspond with HUD’s ART PIECE I did for him…since they are sharing a room and this is what I came up with.

The continent of Africa is in the background in different patterns.

So there you have it.  Hope everyone has a great Tuesday and please continue to make a donation to the Real Hope For Haiti Rescue Center and get your free key fob while you’re at it.

Haiti Donation = Free Key Fob For You

My heart is so heavy for the people of Haiti as I’m sure everyone’s is.  I wanted to try and just do something.  We can sit and think, cry and pray for this place as it is mass chaos right now, but we still need to act.  I met a couple, Aaron and Jamie Ivey, through an old college friend and they have a son, Amos, in Haiti right now.  They have been waiting to bring him home and now with the devastating news of what has happened in Haiti they are not sure how this will affect finally bringing Amos home.  Amos is okay, but I contacted Jamie about what was a good way to help.  They are selling t-shirts here and 100% goes to charities giving aid to Haitian earthquake victims.  Jamie also recommended a wonderful organization called Real Hope For Haiti.  I highly suggest checking out their blog Real Hope For Haiti Rescue Center.  They are a totally legit organization and need help.  So if you would like to make a donation to help this amazing organization I will mail you a free key fob.  If you were planning on donating, why not donate and get something free while you are at.  You can use the “donate” button on the side to make a donation of any amount and every penny will go straight to Real Hope For Haiti Rescue Center…not the proceeds, but every single penny you donate will go straight to this group.  And when I say every penny, I mean every penny.  Please make sure you include your name and address in the note area so that I can mail you your key fob.  This is just a small way I feel I can help and encourage people to give to the Haiti relief.  Thanks everyone!

***I will not be able to ship internationally***

SO EXCITED!

I am totally beside myself with excitement.  I am always getting emails asking to see different examples of work I have done and I always start going through files on my computer and gladly send out pictures of whatever the customer is looking for.  But I finally decided that this was taking way too much time and that I was probably clogging up customers email accounts with way too many pictures.  So I AM SO EXCITED about my new page at the top “All Pitter Patter Work…Past and Present.” Just click on the tab and you can find anything you are looking for.  I have everything organized into specific collections and then the collections are broken down into even more specific sets and it just makes me happy.  So from now on if you want to see every Africa shirt I have done…sure no problem just click there and find your way to the Africa shirts.  Want to see every painting I have ever done…again, no problem.  Click the tab and here you go.  And so on and so on with all Pitter Patter products.  This was one of my New Year’s resolutions, so I am happy to mark this off my list so early in the year.  Enjoy!

Cool New Tees

Two new orders completed and more to come.  This first order was placed by Courtney in Mt Juliet for her little lady Camryn.  Courtney emailed me a few of her favorite tees I have done and then let me decide.  I ended going with a cupcake and added a letter “c” for Camryn.  Thanks Courtney for your business and hope Camryn loves her new tee.

This last order was placed by Stephani in Texas.  Her little boy Paxton is having a Mickey birthday party and she needed a cool tee to match her cool little man.  Stephani wanted the Mickey outline and after sending her some fabric swatch pictures, she nailed down her favorites and let me toy with the design.  She had mentioned wanting a letter “p” on the tee also and this is what I came up with.  Thanks Stephani and hope Paxton’s birthday is the best.

New Name Art & Some Oldies

This first order was placed by my mom for her hairdresser Chelsea, who is due any day with her first baby girl Hayden.  My mom pretty much gives me free reign when she orders and Hayden’s bedding is very vintage and simple so I wanted the art to match.  I really like how it turned out.  Thanks mom!

This next 18×18 Names of Jesus piece was ordered by Amie for her mom in New York.  Thanks Amie and hope your mom loves it.

This 16×20 Names of Jesus piece was ordered by Angie just down the road in Hendersonville.  Thanks Angie and it was so nice to meet you in person.

Happy Weekend.

It Has Started…

the New Year that is.  2010 is in full swing and orders are on their way.  Today I shipped out my first big batch of 2010 orders and it was rather exciting to see how the new year has already gotten off to a fast and crazy start.  Check out some of these new orders.

This first order was actually mailed out shortly after Christmas to Marjorie in Pennsylvania.  She wanted 2 special “Gotcha Day” plates for her sweet boys from Africa.  Thanks again Marjorie and hope your boys love them and it makes their day extra special.

These three shirts are all headed in different directions: Virginia, North Carolina and Oregon.  Thanks so much Elisabeth, Jana and Becca.  Best of luck to you all and your sweet adoptions.

This Africa set was ordered by Jill in Washington for her and her new little baby girl from Ethiopia.  Congrats Jill and again thanks for your business.

These tees were ordered by Rachel in Texas.  She needed an Africa tee for her and her daughter to show some love to their future child and sibling.  Thanks again Rachel and blessings to your adoption process.

This set was ordered by my mom…thanks mom!  She has several friends having babies or grandbabies lately so she has put me to work on a few things.  Love this little set for baby Easton soon to arrive.

And key fobs are flying out our door.  All of the key fobs I made before Christmas are gone and here are new ones that have already found homes also.  Thanks again everyone and let me know if you need one to adorn your keys!

And lastly this sweet towel is headed to Montana.  This was one of the giveaways and the winner Kate had me make it for her new little nephew from Ethiopia.  Thanks Kate and Amanda and hope your sweet boy is home soon.
