Today the boys had MDO and Harper went to school as usual. It was just Amon & me, and Josh worked from home for a bit.

Amon is this crazy laid back baby. He is super happy and smiles almost every time you look at him. I soooo enjoy the days home with him. I know life is about to get really crazy, so I want to make these last few days count. I’m actually really glad we got these extra days to enjoy sweet Kelley normalcy before our big hospital stay and recovery begins.

On days like today, it’s also quite great how much I can get accomplished with just the littlest wee Kelley to look after….the one who takes multiple 2 1/2 hour naps during the day

I worked on some more items for Harper’s school fundraiser coming up in October. Key fob sets and a few camera straps. I haven’t made a camera strap since Christmas last year. I cannot wait to take orders again…I’ve got a major itch now

I also made some killer new snickerdoodles. How about a snickerdoodle with a Rolo in the middle? I know. They were quite delicious. I saw the recipe HERE on Pinterst, but I ended up using my cousin Rebecca’s amazingly yummy snickerdoodle recipe and then putting the Rolo in the middle. Super good.

For dinner, I used a new Pinterest recipe too. This one is pretty awesome and easy. Cheesy Broccoli Chicken Foil Packs. Yep. I would like to make an easy, yummy and made in tin foil dinner every night. Not one dirty pan.

Action figures are not uncommon at Kelley dinners.

And yes, I’m pretty smitten.

Cooler weather has started to set in. Fall is my favorite time of the year…hands down. I love it. The wee Kelleys have been wearing our backyard out. I love that too. When they get home from school they don’t even come in the door usually.

Huddy’s teacher, Ms. Niki, gave me this today when I dropped the boys off. Both boys have amazingly sweet teachers who care, not just for each of my boys, but for our family as well.

And Sol brought home maybe my most favorite monster ever. He was so, so, SO proud.

So that about wraps up my day. I’m always amazed at where the time in a day goes. But these last few days we are maxing out…making them count for sure. Now I’m off to bed. I’m meeting some pretty awesome ladies in the morning for a good run.
Happy Thursday!

Amon has grown so much in the time he has been home!! For some reason in this post he looked “big” to me! So thankful he is growing and being so sweet in the midst of his heart issues. Praying every day for you guys!
Laura, I’m dying for a new camera strap! Let me know how much to help out Harper’s school, and I’ll pay it! Also, I’m shooting Harper’s teacher’s wedding on Saturday
I’m happy you were able to get these few extra days before the hospital stay <3 Thinking of you and your family always <3
Cheyenne…Harper goes to Madison Creek. And Harper will be at Ms. Bruno’s wedding…you should probably take an incredibly cute picture of her
And I really need to line up some family photos asap when Amon gets out of the hospital.
Is it just a coincidence, or do I spy Mumford and Sons lyrics in some of your pieces? Just curious ’cause I love M&S.
For sure. We are quite the fans.
Sweet, sweet kiddos! Love that you’re getting a few extra days to get some good lovin’ in before surgery! Thanks for the pinterest ideas – knowing they really work is great news! Have a wonderful weekend!
So I couldn’t leave a comment on your last post, but I wanted to say that Huddy’s fascination with cutting paper reminds me of my brother’s fascination with tape when he was about that age. One year for Christmas he got a stocking full of different colors of electrical tape
this was before all the fancy duct tape – I shudder to imagine what our house would have looked like had that existed back in the day!
