I literally want to scream with the craziness in my head these days. I am having a hard time keeping the emotions under wraps and everyday is a bit of a battle within myself. We’re still trying to enjoy the days, but WE’RE READY…ready, ready, ready!!!! Josh and I want our son home…the wee Kelley’s want their brother home. Our family needs to be all together. So we wake up and face the day…one day at a time. That’s all we can do.
Harper carved an A on a hickory nut for Amon. She cannot wait to see her baby brother again and the boys are a bit jealous of the pictures hanging up of Harper & Amon together. They want their picture with him too.

We’ve started drinking smoothies. I heard the Ninja was this crazy awesome blender. I was in Walmart and this smaller Ninja was clearanced. High-5! Josh said as he walked out the door one morning, “The family that smoothies together, stays together.” Right on.

I’ve been looking up smoothie recipes to try. I was too excited to just make one so I threw in 1 cup vanilla yogurt, 1/2 cup OJ, 5 strawberries, a handful of blueberries and a bunch of ice. And guess what? It was good. Next time I will use a little less OJ, but overall, for my first attempt, not too shabby. The wee Kelleys sucked theirs up.

Our Walmart re-did their craft section and KUDOS! Seriously, Walmart has completely stepped it up a notch…Washi Tape and all.

We’re still getting ready for school. This includes labeling Harper’s crayons with her name. I love school supplies…especially rainbow colored supplies.

Susan needed some cookies for a hawaiian party. Done!

I had some leftover dough so I did a little cookie therapy. I love my little ace of hearts.

And poor Solomon is sick. He spent the entire day in the bed or on the couch. Going to try and get him back to his spunky little self before I head to Ethiopia or before school starts.

So that was our Thursday. Just hanging out and hanging on…waiting for the call…waiting to finally have our family all together. Filling our time and trying to keep our minds busy. Come on baby boy, come on!
Happy Thursday!

The ninja is also good for making homemade baby food. Love the Ninja
Praying for you. So soon. So soon. Remember that big prayer you prayed while in Ethiopia. . . He’s got it under control. Every day. every aching minute He knows and He’s on it.
Love from Oz.
Love your poss and the pictures you put with them….and now…I might just have to run out and get a ninja! Have been wanting something to make a good smoothie….and…I have bananas in the freezer
My girl loves a smoothie but is afraid of the sound of the blender! Silly girl! Love your cookies! So pretty! And I also LOVE school supplies! Back to School is my most favorite time of year!!!
Many prayers and wishes for a very speedy fly date. You’re doing so well, just hang in there! He’s coming! Bekah
One of our favorite smoothies is a banana, frozen mango chunks, a splash of orange juice, milk, and plain yogurt for a little protein. They are also fun to freeze in small containers with a popsicle stick for a frozen treat.
