Boys, Drs & Caramel Apples

I have 3 boys so therefore I talk about boys a lot.  They are just too too fun.  And they love to be silly.  Makes me heart happy.

Brea gave Huddy a new pair of shoes.  Pretty rockin’.  Sol will get to wear them once his foot gets bigger.  He was okay with that because if he isn’t wearing flip flops, he only wears his Batman shoes.  His own self-imposed rule.  I like Sol’s sassy leg here.

We had a doctor’s appointment today.  Amon is really great at the doctor…for the most part.  He got a clean bill of health.  Thank you for praying for him.  He’ll have another exam Tuesday, so I’m praying for another good exam and then we’ll do surgery on Wednesday.

I snagged lunch at Chick-fil-A.  I was so pleasantly surprised when I got home that they gave me a free 4-count chicken minis.  Chicken minis will be in heaven…I’m sure of it.  Thanks Chick-fil-A for making my emotional eating day even better.

The wee Kelleys have been reading Berenstein Bear books like crazy.  Huddy’s favorite is the trick-or-treat one.  He discovered “apple popsicles” in the book and has been asking me for a while if I could make some.

I finally bought all the supplies and made them today while they are in school.

They are super easy and I just doused ours in fun sprinkles.  I’ve actually never eaten a caramel apple, so I decided to try one.  It wasn’t what I imagined and I would much rather have some chocolate   I think Huddy is going to be super happy when he gets home from school today.  I can hardly wait.

And I’m helping throw a baby shower Saturday for one of my childhood friends Ashley.  I do love giving handmade gifts and artwork is always a hit.  A 20×20 Old Crow Medicine Show “Wagon Wheel” art was just the perfect addition to her new baby boys room.  Glad you like it Ashley.

Hope your Thursday has been good so far.  It’s almost the weekend…and that’s a good thing.
